Terms and Conditions

Service engagement:

  • By engaging our pest control services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before proceeding with our services.
  • These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Petrie’s Pest Control (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (referred to as “you” or “your”).

Service description:

  • We will provide professional pest control services as agreed upon, which may include inspection, treatment, and prevention measures for pests as specified in your service request.

Customer responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for preparing the property for our service as instructed by communications by us to you via email or phone.
  • Throughout our service, technicians are not to move heavy furniture or anything that will be a risk to their personal health and safety.
  • Ensure that our technicians have clear access to all areas requiring treatment including subfloors and roof voids if applicable.
  • Comply with any additional instructions provided by our technicians for the safety of your property and occupants.

Scheduling and cancellation:

  • Appointments will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time.
  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellation or rescheduling. For cancellations or to reschedule please call 0421 406 453 between 8am-5pm or send an email to info@petriespestcontrol.com.au
  • A cancellation fee of $50 will apply for same day cancellations.
  • All unpaid fees will be sent to debt collection for recovery.

Payment terms:

  • Payment must be processed prior to commencing the service.
  • We accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) or bank transfer.
  • Additional fees may apply for certain payment methods, as outlined in your service agreement.
  • Unpaid balances may be subject to collection actions, and all associated costs will be your responsibility.

Warranty conditions:

  • We may provide a warranty for our services, the details of which will be specified in your invoice/service report and at the discretion of the technician.
  • Any warranty provided is contingent upon your compliance with our recommendations and maintenance requirements.
  • Not all properties can be provided with a warranty, it will be dependent upon a number of factors such as the type of property, and the hygiene and housekeeping conditions. If the level of infestation is deemed high there may need to be more than one treatment to resolve the problem. The cost of the follow up treatment will be discussed on the day and need to be covered by the customer.
  • We do not offer warranties for certain pests, as specified in your invoice/report on the day of treatment.
  • No external areas are covered by a warranty this includes garages and sheds.
  • Please allow at least 4 weeks post service before you activate a warranty, as this allows time for the products to of had their full effect.
  • It is important to note warranties are in place to rectify a pest re-infestation. A sighting of one insect does not constitute a re-infestation.

Liability and damages:

  • We are not liable for any damage or loss caused by pests or the treatment process unless it results from negligence on our part.
  • You are responsible for securing and protecting your personal property during and after our service.

Privacy and data:

  • We may collect and use your personal information as necessary for providing our services. Your privacy is important to us, and we will handle your data in accordance with our privacy policy.

Termination of services:

  • We reserve the right to terminate services if we encounter unsafe or hostile conditions at the property, or if you fail to meet your obligations as outlined in this agreement.

Entire agreement

  • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
  • We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance.
